Prospections

Movin’Marine, search for mineral resources

The prospecting work to locate new sources of mineral resources requires technological and sustainable advances which allow a productivity improvement with the lowest environmental impact. This must involve a necessary decrease in cost and an improvement of the location of such sources, whether it is water, hydrocarbons or minerals, eliminating most of the possible uncertainties.

The geophysical prospection with the M2 and GPR equipment allow carrying on a detailed exploration of the subsoil with the goal of exploring extensive areas with a great resolution and maximizing the possibilities of success.

That must involve a necessary decrease in cost and an improvement of the location of such sources, whether they are of water, hydrocarbons or minerals, eliminating most of the possible uncertainties.

Extensive mining prospection:

Obtaining data at cruising speed

Extensive mining prospection is carried out by aerial remote sensing equipment, the Radar M2®. This equipment takes advantage of the most recent knowledge on spectral treatment of telluric waves to locate abnormalities associated with the presence of minerals.

The Radar M2® is a high efficiency piece of equipment and it is installed on aerial transport devices, such as planes or helicopters, collecting data at cruising speed. Its advanced technology allows covering very extensive areas in a short period of time.

Its depth of range goes from 1 m to 4,000 m below the terrestrial surface and the coverage goes from 1 m to 5,000 m. The planimetric precision is of 1 m2.
