VHF band

The passive VHF band is the core of the System and the reason why the M2 radar is capable of detecting deep metal deposits. Since it works with low frequencies, the penetration can reach 1000 meters.
P-Band (UHF)

The P-band (UHF) is used to compensate the readings for the first tens of meters and up to 100 m.
L-Band
